seems to be another distro starting up, anybody know of this? might be worth somebody trying it to see what it's like...

distro of what? some brand of unix? i dont see linux on that page or any other unix brand tho. in fact i dont see any about pages at all. 17 kernel rewrite?? now im confused!

It's not a new Linux distro. It's just a new kernel someone's writing. You're not actually meant to use things like this; they're just research/learning projects.

why the fuck are they writing it if they're not using it????

and a kernel is one short step away from being a whole OS you know, all thanks to the Free Software Foundation too.

Well I'm guessing to research/learn. There are a lot of kernels in development by people just looking to learn about os development.
