I am typing this from a Microsoft PS/2 keyboard.

Our software, Xboxes and Zunes suck but try our hardware!
The Xbox and the Zune are hardware too ;)
-
I meant keyboards, webcams et cetera.
Not that Xbox 360 and Zune HD shit.
-
Yup.
I can't wait till the day MS quits the software industry to focus on its more innovative products: keyboards.
-
Their mice used to be quite good :P
Although, no real man would type on anything but a genuine IBM Model M.
-
I used to like Microsoft mice, but then I bought a Logitech that worked just as well but cost less. So fuck Microsoft mice.
Anybody want a used 1st gen Xbox? Includes one controller, optical drive works sometimes.
-
I have an old Logitech USB mouse.
Their keyboards are good, one is even CAD$20 (the least expensive) at a store in my area.

You could install Linux on that 1st gen xbox, or even Xbox Media Center. At least make it useful for something :P

That requires a mod chip, right? Which is more than I'm willing to spend.
-
Anyone remember MrX?
Lol, I remember a couple of threads by him ranting on about the Microshat mouse.

Even though he was annoying and deserved to be banned, I kind of miss him in a weird way. ;D

Actually, now you don't even need a modchip, you don't even have to open the Xbox up.

It is a bit of a project though, you will need to either buy (or make) a USB adapter for the cable (xbox 1 controllers actually use USB) and use a USB flash drive to get the needed data onto the xbox. I guess you also have to rent the game "MechAssault" for a day. Its all in the guide.
-
Finding and running that MechAssault game might be the hardest part of the project. Hard to find any kind of original Xbox games anymore, much less games that have been patched and rereleased. Plus, the disc drive only works sporadically.
I did look up the manufacture date, though, to make sure I was mod capable. I am - my Xbox was manufactured in April 2002. With the notoriously useless Thompson drive.
