Title: Question
Post by: sime on 6 April 2004, 14:25
We are having a mass debate :) as you do.

The question under discussion is... "do MS support the editing of that abomanation known as the registry?"

Answers on a post card, accompanied by URL's of info backing up your statements would be more than appreciated.

I believe this should answer the question rather easily.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;322754 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;322754)

If they were opposed to such a practice, then they would probably not have answered that question in their knowledge base.
