Title: Java-based Ogg-Theora player
Post by: mobrien_12 on 11 September 2004, 06:04
Slashdot:  Theora Codec Ported to Java (http://developers.slashdot.org/developers/04/09/10/2053245.shtml?tid=108&tid=97&tid=95&tid=1)

This is pretty badass.  A fully java based streaming video player.  You got the JDK installed on your computer, just access the URL and the movie starts.  No downloading a player, no installing, no security-hole-ridden-active-X.

Try it! (http://mirror.fluendo.com/cortado/)  Be warned that the sound drops out alot, probably because it's in spain and just been slashdotted.
