And yes, Kazaa Lite is safe to use.

Provided i dont share it should be ok. Are there any more "secure" ways to do p2p. Which programs are the best.
Im in windows at the moment, i already have good programs in linux.

I just get a ripped picture icon.

The latest KaZaA Lite doesn't save your IP address in a DAT file, so it's very safe to use.

shit! we will see a lot more of this i think...
in related news, i saw this horrible thing today too... (http://calumsmusic.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi/YaBB.cgi?board=politics-politics;action=display;num=1073691451;start=0#0) :(
of course now everybody can see that terrorism pays off in big publicity, everybody wants in on the action.
by the way, use gtk-gnutella and also possibly overnet with the edonkey gui from sourceforge, that should about cover the decent filesharing opportunities more or less.

thanks calum

I use DC++, since it's open source it's as secure as you want it to be (if you know C++, that is).

Poisoned (http://gottsilla.net/) has been working really well for me. It uses OpenFT, Gnutella, and FastTrack.

K-Lite works grat for me, but i mean can you really use it without worrying just a little bit?
-
I might rig up solidox bombs, if they come to raid me, ill blow up all my computers.

For the people who want to use KaZaA Lite in Linux:
Tutorial (http://frankscorner.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=50&page=1)
Check the lawbook of your country. The Dutch one says: "no uploading, only download if you trade songs", which is kinda weird. How am I supposed to trade songs if I can't upload them? (http://tongue.gif)

The only problem I have on it is that I can't find anything.
