It’s pretty common for kids to go trolling on game forums and make obnoxious claims such as having a go on the Xbox 360 in their own home. Well, this thread on Gamespot started that way, except the kid actually backed up his claims with these photos:
Now the kid is begging to get the thread deleted (maybe he found out what an NDA is), but the cat is already out of the bag. Apparently his step dad just started working for Microsoft under the title of Regulatory Compliance Manager, and is currently hardware testing the Xbox 360. The wires coming out the top are for such testing. The hardware is apparently complete, and although there were no 360 games to test, he gave Halo 2 a spin in backwards compatibility. He is claiming the power supply is external, and is enourmous. He also raved about the user interface/dashboard and the feel of the controller (and this coming from an admitted PlayStation fan, so it must be good).
You are a damn lucky kid, but I hope you didn’t just cost your step dad his new job.
Pics.

Erm. Yes.
I think PS 3 will be better......
So do I. The Nintendo Revolution should be pretty good too, I'd love to see it kick the Xbox 360 and PS3's asses.
-
i dont think it will because nitendo doesnt make all the same gam es as sony and Xbox:beos:

Nintendo make few games, Microsoft make some, and I don't think Sony make any. It's the third party software developers that make the most games, and from what I've read, they look forward to making software for the Nintendo Revolution.

Nintendo always seems to make weak budgeted down one pea in a watered down soup version of a game console. What's that? Game cube I hear?

Do you ever make sense?
Their consoles aren't too powerful, but it's what they do with the little power that matters. The Xbox 360 is just gone over the top, they won't gain all that much extra, and will just bloat up the price, and perhaps the games too.
-
All the bloat, in the boat.

It's the games that matter. And if the console is a little bit less powerful than the competetors, it's well compensated by kick ass games.

agreed. you have a point Refalm

Nintendo says the gamecube can push 12.5 Million Polygons per sec, The xbox and PS2 say thay can push about 60Million polygons s sedoned, but what they dont mention is that this is with No FSAA, 1 texture, low dedtail, basicly everything set to as low as it can go, while they gamecube's polygon a seconed measurement is with everything turned upto max , mutiple texture, 4xFSAA, everything on high, but when everything is turned up on the xbox and PS2 that number drops, alot to about 12-14 million Polygons a sec showing that the gamecube is weak. Well atleast when it first came out it didn't freeze up and isnt diificult to program.

I prefer PS3 to XBOX 360

nintendo revolution? that looks a bit retro. I like it :D
although i still prefer ps3
-
Yes, that is the revoluton, it is slightly samller than 3 DVD cases stacked on top of each other, and finally a nintendo product that can play Dvds and is backward comaptible with games from every system they made.
-
backward comaptible with games from every system they made.
NO! Only the recent ones (not the old cartridge ones).
;)
EDIT: Oops I see I was wrong.
-
yes it will, you just have to download the old games through the revolution's online service and put the gane in its memory
