That is pretty standard, and "acts of god" in law means: floods, earthquakes, etc. Shit you should be insured for if you're not a fucking moron who deserves to loose everything.
That actually seems pretty fair, what Microsoft should cover shit they're not responsible for?

Acts of God sounds pretty unconstitutional to me. :P

You can't have the word God refered to in US law as it violates separation of the church from state.

It's not a law, it's a contract you fucking moron.

A contract which still needs to be defended in a court of law.

It's still not a law, are your parents fucking twins or something?
The constitution is about legislation, and Supreme Court decisions. I don't even live in your fucking shit country and I know that. Go back to high school or something.

Last time I checked, Aloone_Jonez doesn't live in the US either.
Kintaro is correct - 'act of god' is a common legal term which refers to unforeseeable events. Since it is implicit in the term that god didn't actually cause the event in question (it's a figure of speech), this does not violate separation of church and state.
-
It says power surge. What if it is a surge caused by the system itself (very unlikely)
-
More like: impossible.
-
Didn't Microsoft have to replace the power cords for free on all the original Xboxes because they caused fires and shit? I got one mailed to me as part of a recall program.
Anyway, I try not to buy products who aren't designed to have the minimal failsafes against voltage spikes.

It also doesn't violate it because its a private agreement and Microsoft is not the state.

They might have. I don't particularly remember though, and I recently got a 360 (more along the lines of my brothers idea -_-)
