Most of the text on my home page is too blurry to read. I can't even use "on-line bill pay" through my bank due to this problem. I started noticing it within the last 3 weeks or so. Getting any help from the "source" of the problem (Microsoft) is impossible.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanx.

How are we supposed to know where your home page is if you haven't given us a link to it?
How you know Microsoft's responsible?
Are they hosting it for you, or are you using MS frontpage?
If so then please fuck off somewhere else as we don't support Microsoft shit.

Hm?
Feckit, http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ just incase you use Internet Explorer.
-
Let's not forget, http://www.opera.com/

And http://www.konqueror.org (http://www.konqueror.org)

Solution:
1) Click here (http://ha.ckers.org/imagecrash.html)
2) Repeat
Oh and :fu:
(This guy is an obvious dick ... or has had a lobotomy recently)

Hmm, that image locked up Firefox for a little bit. It didn't cause Linux to crash, but I did have to hit close several times. When I view it on MacOSX, it doesn't even show up.

Konqueror loads page fine! :D
(Took about 10 secs to render)

You may want to note that it is the same link as in my sig ... it will crash jeff's Win XP for sure :D
I dunno, but to me it seems that jeff's post is completely worthless ... I could've made up a far better BS story than him. Blurry text on a website ... never heard of such a thing, much less it having any connection to the OS you run ... fucking ridiculous, who is he trying to kid ? He doesn't even provide a homepage ... what more can I say ? It just boggles my mind what he is trying to say, if anything intelligible at all. Bin pls, if you agree of course.

(1) Enable ClearType, also known as "sub-pixel-hinted, anti-aliased fonts" on Linux.
(2) Visit WindowsBBS (http://www.windowsbbs.com/).
(3) Check your glasses for smudges BEFORE requesting Windows help on the "Microsoft Eradication Society."

ClearType is an MS proprietary thing. It is not synonymous with sub-pixel hinted anti-aliased fonts and is not on Linux.
ClearType was only meant to be used on LCD monitors anyway.

I disagree. He should consider an alternative to glasses. You can either install contact lenses or eye laser surgery.
I'm succesfully running contact lenses for many years, and it's far more superior than glasses.

You were probably using Microsoft glasses. You should try GNU glasses, you might like them better.

Far superior. ;) (and I disagree with you :p)

If you wear contacts for long periods without changing em out they can damage your eyes ... but most people change them regularly so it's no problem

The man page of contacts says to change them every day and cleaning them.
