Title: I have a sin to confess!
Post by: zombie on 21 March 2002, 20:46
The only mouse I ever use is an old  microsoft serial mouse, last week it died (don't know how).
So I had to get a new mouse, and what did I buy, another microsoft serial mouse, and I absolutly love it.

I feel so guilty!!!

Have you ever used a Kensington mouse? They make the best mic IMHO. The kengsinton trakball (not the Orbit, which get's skippy after a while) is definetly the best in the world. Running at 80$ once you buy it you will never need another mouse for as long as you use computers. I guarantee that. I have had my Kensington since the beginning of the 90's and it still hasen't keeld out. Looks brand new.

they have fancier ones, but this is the classic, besides the aditional 2 buttons, the design has remained virtualy unchanged  (http://smile.gif)

Just thought id plug this. But then again, some people seem to like Mice better than tracks, I don't know why that would be tho.

A microsoft mouse...hmm...can you really discuss this logically?

i had a macroshaft mouse once on a 386, with an os/2 port. it worked perfectly, but only on that computer with that driver. Until today, i can't get it to work with *any* computer, even if they have the round os/2 port or even when i use a converter plug from os/2 to serial ....

It's PS/2, dickhead. And don't expect a PS/2 to serial adapter to work with any mouse other than the one it came with.
