Title: RIAA issues 532 lawsuits
Post by: Xeen on 21 January 2004, 23:27
The RIAA's done it again. This time they've filed 532 "john doe" lawsuits, meaning that they sued 532 IP addresses, and not 532 people. Last month a court said that the RIAA had no right to demand ISPs to give out user identification by IP addresses, so they've decided to just sue anonymous people. This will be interesting to see how it plays out.
