Title: Installing QNX
Post by: SAJChurchey on 19 February 2003, 05:29
I've tried installing QNX, and I know it can install itself on an existing FAT partition in addition to another Windows installation, but I couldn't figure out how to do this.  How can I install a QNX directory (seperate installatoin) on an existing FAT partition?  And what would I do to configure GEUB to handle booting into it?

QNX has the ability to install itself in a seperate QNX directory on a FAT32 partition.  I don't know if it does NTFS or not.

It's kinda liky Cygwin only you can boot into a GUI-based *nix system instead of emulating one.

YOUR PERSONALLY RESSPONISBLE for the entire strip to be washed away, clensed, as if gallons of rubbing alcohol flowed thru the strip and was set on fire.
It didnt just singe the hair it made it straight.

Then perry ellis came with his broom and his silk

If you have the QNX CD, put it in your computer with Windows running and it should lauch an install program that lets you do it.

Thanx never thought of doing that.  I'll give it a shot as soon as my server is up and running.

Doesn't QNX has it's own allocation table? I think I saw it in CFDisk once...

Yeah, it does have its own fs, but it can also use the filesystems of others
