Title: Hibernate in Linux!
Post by: Agent007 on 29 December 2002, 00:48
Guys,

The patch for the hibernate feature can be found here:-

http://fchabaud.free.fr/English/default.php3?COUNT=3&FILE0=Tricks&FILE1=Laptop&FILE2=Swsusp (http://fchabaud.free.fr/English/default.php3?COUNT=3&FILE0=Tricks&FILE1=Laptop&FILE2=Swsusp)

I'm on RH8, kernel version is 2.4.18-14. Question is which patch should I download? Will the vanilla kernel patch work on RH8 kernel? and how do I install the patch? Do I just run the script?

thanks,
007
