Title: Free alternative to Outlook?
Post by: aleta on 5 July 2004, 12:44: What are the good alternative to Outlook for Windows. I'm looking for something as good as Ximian Evolution and I'm having a hard time to find something as neat. I don't want to wait until Chandler is usable. (http://smile.gif) I tried WinPIM, but it does not include a mail program...
Anyone satisfied with a decent alternative?

All I found for now is
WinPIM (http://www.winpim.com/), but it really has the Win XP look and feel, and it sucks.

Any idea?

I just took a look at IBM's website, and what you're looking for is "Lotus Organizer." I suggest looking in that direction.

It's 60 bucks, by the way, so make sure it has all the features you need.

This is true. A price is to be paid for quality software. I wouldn't wish wasting $60 for nothing useful on most people, though.
