Are we supposed to be shocked or something ?  I think the japanese are smart enough to know a good thing when they see it.

actually i think  that has more to do with how women are treated in japan.  Its a cultural thing I'm not sure of.

Lets face it.  Japan has a lot of inteligent people when it comes it engineering.  But when it comes to common sense they aren't the brightest crayons in the box.
