"Modern Unix is a catastrophe. It's the "Un-Operating System": unreliable, unintuitive, unforgiving, unhelpful, and underpowered. Little is more frustrating than trying to force Unix to do something useful and nontrivial. Damn the propaganda and the stupid computer illiterate consumers that buy into that shit.
-
i wonder if they could be sued for false advertising?

holy shit!! what a BIG fucking lie .. i wish someone in the media world, would go on tv and put a windows and linux for a test , i mean real test so alot people could see it how fucking bad is window . just like the ads come on tv about smoking is bad from those people called TheTruth.
one thing i didn't notice MICRODICK didn't had the balls to say was "LINUX IS VERY STABLE AND DOESN'T HAVE IS OWN LIBARY COMPUTER HOLES LIKE WINDOWS"

Well, boys and girls, have you thought of the name Microsoft? That is one helluva lie in itself. It

I can't believe Yoda has gone to the dark side!!

Unix does not impeed on the progression of computer science. It is only natural that it help flower the progression. Windows impeeds the flow by over-relying on user friendliness, development that is too centered on mere ease of use will almost always result in a lack of power. Not to mention the over all blanket of ignorence set upon the masses by microsoft's elaborate propaganda and flat-line progression. It is due to microsoft's user friendly stratagy that many users haven't got off their ass and learned a damn thing for 5+ years.

actually unix does impede computer progress. in fact SCO, the current owners of unix are even now preparing to sue IBM for marketing linux!
what is actually true is that Open Source Free (as in freedom) software does not impede development like microsoft (and many others) do.
the Free software foundation was set up as a reaction to Unix's restrictive non-disclosure licences.

"One cannot delete the Web browser from KDE without losing the ability to manage files on the user's own hard disk."
1)You can still access/manage files via command line
2)I can't delete the web browser from my windows machine period.
Stupid fucks...

I wonder if who ever wrote that knew that they were shitting a huge lie or if they were just to damb stupid to know any better.
Who trusts microsoft's servers for anything serious ?
Relatively smart companies like Mitsubishi and Sony sure dont. And Cox down here in my area is using Solaris 8.
Microsoft wasn't even smart enough to know the century was going to end.
And by the way .... the last time i checked all macs ever built were programmed to calculate the date up to the year 32000

And they'll lose. IBM is a huge company and Linux isn't trademarked or copyrighted to anyone.

Actually, mc802 (I think, I can't remember,) when Bill Gates first showed Windows 98 at a press conference, he was saying "And see, because of new PLUG AND PLAY technology, Windows says oh, look, a printer, and then installs WOAH!!!"
To which the camera zooms on a massive "Fatal Exception 0E" on a huge projector screen in front of a few thousand journalists
