LindowsOS because at least I could hack the hell out of it to make it a half-decent OS.

Oh my god Lindows that piece of sh*t. They are making it look like no other Linux has GAIM or Mozilla or any of that. my Slack 8.1 came with GAIM and mozilla... whats the difference??

Actually, they're making it look like they wrote Gaim and Mozilla. They certaily got Microsoft's marketing down!

I guess Lindows would be decent if you don't know a damn thing about Linux (thats who its targeted to anyway) but I didn't really like it. What I don't understand is, why did they pull out the native Wine support? The whole gimmick of this OS was for regular folk to run thier windows apps in a better environment. By taking this away, they just become another Linux Distro. Most linux users aren't going to go anywhere near it. They'll just go get the real debian, and use it.

I don't get it.
