I have my computer setup as dual boot with win98 and Mandrake Linux. I am sorry, but I have certain programs that I must have win98 for and can't completely get rid of it. My problem is that I had problems with the win98 partition with the windows registry and had to reinstall win98. Well, when I did as you know it destroys the boot manager Grub in my case and now I can only boot into Linux with a bootdisk. Is there a way to restore or reinstall Grub without doing a reinstall of Linux?
Thanks,

in the console type:
grub-install hd0,0
is probly what you need to do if you want grub installed on /dev/hda1.
