Good idea, someone tried to tell me I shouldn't buy a Playstation 3 because the Xbox360 "rocks" and the ps3 might crash.

Excuse me while I laugh hysterically.;)

wait wait, so if i buy one i am forbidden to touch it when it's on. so a company that makes utter shite, sells it for stupid prices, then wont fix problems, just say you caused them all. i was considereing one when they are cheaper for linuxing, but FUCK it. i'll stay with athlon 64's and linux.

No, you are are not supposed to tilt it from horizontal to vertical white it is on and there is a game inside.

Don't blame MS for the law of anglar momentum.

How come I can tilt the PS2 like that?

Obviously MS could've by-passed this, with enough thought.

Simple, the X-360 uses a cheap DVD-Rom drive that can't keep the disc from banging agaisnt the drive. My mom's 3 year old laptop has to be shooken crazily for the disc to scratch, but a new piece of hardware cant even do what a 3 year old laptop can---sad

Xboxen have been plagued by shitty low-quality optical drives since the first one rolled off the assembly line.  How can this possibly be surprising to anyone?

Well...the PS3 is made by Sony, the musical rootkit company.

The XBox 360 is made by Microsoft.

The choice is yours. :o

Yep, with 4 peices of foam. You'd think that a muti-billon dollar company could afford some foam.
Title: Re: Move Xbox 360 - and your game is lost...
Post by: Lead Head on 17 December 2005, 02:56
my dads work places uses alot of foam.. foam is cheap. they makes huge blocks of foam about 20feet by 6 feet by about 2-3 feet for like $20

and that would be enough for about what? 10000 xboxes?

It could be that they don't make the drives.

Samsung or Thompson optical drives.  Both have had problems, although the Thompsons are the absolute worst.

Of course, a multi-billion dollar corporation, who can afford foam, can also afford to purchase their hardware from a respectable vendor.

The highest rated DVD players for the home-video market are Toshibas.  Maybe they're pretty good.

bahahahhahah ... I don't ... they deserve it :D ... that'll show them the true nature of Microsoft ... heck I bet Gates planned it out, having the Xbox360 scratch up disk so you can keep buying new ones at your expense of course ... oh yes he is a man/demon of the year indeed.

Of course, if you are a total moron, you would keep buying Xbox 360s. If you are smart, you would mod it. I guess bill is hoping for hardware illiterate parents of 12 year olds to buy it...

The PS3 is supposed to have a blu-ray drive.  Sony put self destruct sequences into the blu-ray drive specs.

FUCK THE PS3.

they did ... at least that's what I keep reading ... hmmmmm ... I'm kinda addicted to video games so I think I'd rather buy a PS3 than use Winblow$ ... or maybe I could buy all consoles available an make an ultra modded console that can play any game on any disk (PC. PS, PS2, PS3, XBox, Xbox 360 ... and any others I might have missed. Man that would be tough to do ... not to mention not too legal either (like I care)

We lost our first disk to this shit a week ago. After about a month after getting the machine. There is no way IN HELL the PS2 was as bad as the '360. Our PS2, in years, never ate any of our disks, and it definetly didn't sit still for that long.

What, Thompson drive?  I'm pretty sure they pulled that after Gen-1 of the PS2, and that the manufacturers of the 360 have put no such measures into play as of yet.

O, and about the ps2 sony make just about every part in the ps2. Right down to the processor. just about everything inside the ps2 is first-party. Since microsoft doesn't make hardware the only thing that is really microsoft in a xbox is the OS
