By the way, I know some people in the Car Simulator business, and this would get them out of a job probably.

Best thing about driving a 15-year-old Volkswagen: it has never ever made any Microsoft device noises.

So whats exactly happening? Did they plug a computer into the car and it sees the car as a controller of sorts? Or was it just a demo thing for that "EcoDrive" thing they have listed on their site? (which does sounds kind of interesting - the ability go get a full report of your driving)

It looked to me like they had a mockup of a car with a computer screen outside the windshield.  Kinda like an arcade game, but with the sanitized interior of a minivan or something.  The road program was on the USB stick.  At least that's what it seemed like to me.
