I thought that Japan was kicking M$ out, and Korean bouncing the idea around also. I guess that propaganda is one way to keep stock prices up.

M$ bought the last all korean O/S out in 1998.  The Koreans were upset about it.  They lost the only all korean language O/S that was on the market and a bit of Korean Pride and their foot print in the world of O/S's as well...

Bet ya can't guess how M$ replaced that operation...That's right.  Here in Seoul in the OLD Hongook Software Corps building, there is now an M$ branch office that produces the Hongul writing and software for the Koreans.  How Generous of Mr. Gate$ that was.  

Another example of how to force peeps to use your stuff and by typical methods.  If he buys them out, then he owns them and there is no competition.  But then again, they don't have laws against monopolies here.
