a few simple words that basically said 'give us more money'
Your CD key has been registered too many times, please enter a new key
well isn't that a bitch, i had to reinstall Windows practically every friggin month and now they're telling me that i can no longer use Windows.
right now i'm on Linux and it's not so bad i guess. i got GAIM running to act as my MSN/ICQ, i have Open Office instead of Word and i have Gnutella instead of Kazaa. i guess i have to stay on Linux now and scan stuff on my dad's computer.

Um... unless you stole the XP CD, you should be able to call a number and get a new key, or do it online.

I had to do that one time. Then I found out about XP "Corporate" edition which doesn't need activation. Then I found out about Linux.

because Linux doesn't support cameras or scanners.

The gnutella network is shite. Downoad Kazaa Lite. It's a spyware free version of kazaa and it is possible to get it working using wine.
