As geeks, I'm sure that most of the folks who post here have an appreciation of impressive, but impractical things. The link that accompanies this post will take you to a website that has MP#'s of an antique Formula 1 BRM race car. The particular car is a 1953 version of a combination that BRM started using in 1948; as far as I can find out, they raced this configuration until 1954. The car has a 1.5 Litre supercharged V-16 (yes, that's right; 16 cylinders); this is the mostimpressive sounding internal combustion engine I've ever heard. Some spec's bore; 49.53 mm.(1.949") Stroke; 48.6 mm.(1.913") Intake valve dia.1.25" Exhaust Valve dia. 1.09" Displacement: 1498 CC (about 92 cu. in) BHP 600 @ 12,000 RPM.
If you have ANY interest in exotic race cars, give this site a visit, it's totally impressive.

Thanks Bob, I screwed it up. If anyone wants to see pictures of this car, do a Google search for "1953 BRM Formula 1 racing car"
