The 3U, 14x Drive Storage Unit:
14x Drives of 180 GB = 2.52 Terabytes max
RAID Modes: 0, 1, 3, 5, 0+1
Cache battery backups
Dual fiber channel connections
Great monitoring & management system (pretty much the same as the XServe's)

That is definitely one hell of a nice box. Does Apple have any hard numbers on how many XServes are in service nowadays? I heard they were making pretty decent impact..

There is an article on cnet highlighting the Xserve.

They reckon that Apple have 1% of the server market and last year they only had .3%.  Not bad considering Apple are supposedly dying in view of their competitors.

apple needs a mascot.

how about Will Ferrel? have him show up in offices with Apple computers and show IT drones how badass they are and how shitty their windoze boxes are.
