This basically means that you can put Gentoo Linux's pacakge management system, Portage, on a Mac and use it to quickly and efficiently install and upgrade packages.  :eek:

Is Gentoo any good? It's sounds very interesting, looks good. I notice it will run on PowerPC. Imac rev b?
