I've bought one cd from the music store...
Link by Oystein Sevag... it has 13 songs.  So I helped.  I just don't see why I should buy music that I can buy in the a regular store and have no DRM's.  Now if apple started having smaller people.  Not big company musicians.  Then it would be different.  Cus lets face it.  The internet is the best place in the world for start up and fledgling bands.

I still haven't used it, except to find songs I like so I can download them with Limewire. Don't tell anyone.
