Watch the REAL state of union 2004 speach by President Bush here (http://homepage.mac.com/webmasterkai/kaicurry/gwbush/stateofthe.html).
HILARIOUS!
-
It's done very professionally. Go Apple software :D
But things will be basically the same if you Americans choose Kerry.
Dennis Kucinich is the only Democratic candidate who is against NAFTA, FTAA, WTO and other free trade agreements.
See here (http://resources.kucinich.us/video/video/ohio/jobs1_quick_broadband.mov) why (QuickTime movie).

well, looks like someowe did a good job. very nice work.
-
That was...sick.
It makes me wonder what these people have in their heads. Because that video goes far beyond reality, and far beyond any possible reality.
These people scare me.
-
Most of it seems pretty accurate to me.

That sounds like a more apt response to the real SOTU address.

I have decided on one conclusion:
You guys are too sympathetic.

In case you missed this subtle point, the video is actually surreal satire. It's not meant to be taken literally. Although as I say, most of it is a pretty accurate picture of what Bush's heinous, disgusting regime (which you shamefully support) is responsible for.

True, it's not like this hasn't happened in pre-history. Now we're due a nice "cycle" back to the ice-age.

What does that mean?

Actually, I'd like to change that statement. Instead, "I don't care enough about people."
Because that's what I'm sounding like, don't it? (http://redface.gif)

I still have no idea what you're talking about. Are you being sarcastic?
-
I'm thinking that I just don't get it. ~500 American troops are dead, as well as a few thousand Iraqis...but I don't feel any anger towards Bush and company. Maybe it's just me being a kid, fascinated by war and the bombs blowing up on TV from cameras overseas....
I don't think that Bush has a "heinous, disgusting regime." I don't feel the anger with the words you'd use to attack the previous sentence.
And I'd like to clarify something - I'm not really a huge Bush supporter. I don't know who I'm supporting for Prez '04. But I don't find justification for this Democratic Party holy war (of sorts) against Bush, Cheney, and Ashcroft, or the video which started this thread. I think it goes too far.
Am I being sarcastic? No, but something tells me that I should be. :(

Yeah, and the acid rains that destroy vegetation each year are part of a big lie, too.

c'mon people. its just a joke.
-
It is funny. All those who don't agree can run themselves through with a rusty pickle.
-
I watched it again, and it seemed a lot funnier this time. Maybe I was just in a bad mood last night. :fucktard:

Hey! A quicktime video watched from Windoze that didn't crash my browser!

OK, I'll bite. So what? I don't want my government to pull off a PATRIOT act because of your neoconservatives' antics. Ironic that even though Canada's security is supposedly so deficient that the country is a 'haven' for terrorists, we're not the ones who get those terrorists attacks you keep bawling about. Maybe that's because we don't constantly meddle in other countries' affairs like some governments I won't name.

I agree. I like how canada sits there and does nothing(well, not much anyway). The US has these problems becuase we dick around in other areas. I think the whole war in Iraq just makes more terrorists. Its not like Iraq was connected to the 9/11 attack anyway.

Canadian troops are in Haiti and Afganistan. Canada also helped out with Vietnam. They were in Europe, too, during WWII.

We didn't actually start any of those wars. And we didn't prop up dictatorships in third world countries, either (can you say Pinochet?).

Wow, that's pretty bad. The only worse thing I can imagine would be if the Canadian government had actually created and trained these terrorist groups in the first place, and had also put Saddam Hussein in power.

Could anyone tell me what gas prices are like in canada, or wherever you live? Gas is about $2.10 a gallon where I live in California.

I don't know about the rest of Canada, but prices in Quebec can vary from $0.65 to $0.85 (CAD) per litre, depending on days and places. Right now it's $0.80 in Beloeil, which would be about $2.21 per US gallons in USD. I'm not an expert, but I don't think there's that much of a difference.

Gas prices where I am was $1.65 a gallon last week.
