Title: muzak @ work
Post by: 1000schnauzers on 18 January 2003, 06:13
we have a muzak CD player at work.  the boss's genre selections absolutely SUCK.  the muzak player won't play regular CD's.  all this = problem.  anybody know what kind of audio format muzak uses?  it's gotta be something compressed cuz there's like 6 hours of muzak on each CD.  I threw one in the CD drive but Linux just said it couldn't display the contents. ( I have no Windows) I really would like to be able to convert some Mp3's and ogg's to whatever format muzak uses and burn a few of my own with music worth listening to. I tried the muzak website, and they have samples of their "audio architecture" (?) for download, and it's in *.ral format, but I'm pretty sure that's not what the CD's have on them.  anybody know anything useful?
