According to Steve Ballmer Office 11 is in beta but it isn't really.

Yesterday Steve Ballmer announced that Microsoft already had the next Office release in beta, but this is not quite the case."
Okay why am i not surprised by this? No wonder their products are buggy if even the high command don't know at what stage they are at!
