Title: LOL, Windows resorts to giving death threats!
Post by: CIA Agent on 26 June 2002, 04:13: We all know how bad Windows realy is, now it's true nature is revealed! I downloaded a program called "ResourceHacker" that lets you do some cool stuff with it. With it, among other mischevious deeds, I can hack Windows Media Player and put death threat's on its menu. Of course, you might forget wich death threat used to be which option, but you'll get a kick when a guest uses your computer. :D

Change Menus, change or add keyboard shorcuts, change splash screens, Change the default icons for everything, lock files, make them invisible, almost anything you can think of.

You can really fuck your system if you're not careful. Unfortunately, OS X does not have an equivalent yet.

There is a great site for RedEdit users called ResExcellence (http://www.resexcellence.com)

The site is run on a Linux box and they have a Linux section too.
