Does anyone know how is the command to check and clean the hosts table (C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS)?

to chekc the hosts table you must first create a RAM virtual drivethat the hosting table will automatically jump to by to by typing this into your autoexec.bat:

Code: [Select]

Then in your autoexec.bat on the next line type:

Code: [Select]

thats all there is to it!

Thanks for help.

But I already read that is possible to clean this table executing a command in a MS DOS prompt, without creating RAMDISKS.

Do you know how to do that?

by typing those two lines into your autoexec.bat it will do it autmatically for you when you restart

maybe it was because his problems disappeared after he took your advice. Incidentally, i remember this the first time around! i must be getting old!  ;)
