More Linux questions:
Where do you get GIMP filters? Are there any?
-
try Google (http://www.google.com/search?q=gimp+plugins&sourceid=opera&num=10)
-
Hah hah very funny.... I already did
-
Hmmmm.... Try the gimp website.
-
Yeah tried that too, i'm looking for Xenofex or Eyecandy quality filters like lightning and fire and that nice stuff.
-
There might be some on linux.tucows.com
or www.linux.org (http://www.linux.org)
-
http://registry.gimp.org (http://registry.gimp.org)
has a bunch of plugins for gimp.
-
another gimp query. i haven't really tried yet, but can the gimp easily manipulate animated gimps? if so, any tips? if not, any alternatives to run on a mandrake system?
ta as always.......
-
Animated gimps? I've seen a few of those and it's not a pretty sight! But if you mean animated GIFs then yes. I've made plenty for my band's web site using The GIMP.
-
Shouldn't you be telling him not to use GIFs?
-
Well, it's up to him if he wants to use GIF. How's the animated PNG (MNG) format coming? I should have advised him against using the GIF format if at all possible.
