I thought you had tried Lynx in the past, but then again late is better than never.   :D  Are you using it on OS X, Linux or both?

I'm using it on OS X as well (downloaded with Fink) and I use it whenever I get tired of graphics-heavy pages and just want to focus on some reading. Anyway, it's blindingly fast on dialup, let alone broadband.   ;)

Why not use Links? It can display tables. Lynx is too "cowdy", in my opinion.
