Can i use sendmail to send an e-mail to thousands of e-mail addresses at once? Is there any easy way to get a whole bunch of e-mail addresses? I need to tell all the non-bobs about Bob.

Well then you are going to have to send that message to "billions" not "thousands".  I doubt you have that sorta bandwidth.
