hey i was over at antionline.com and found a post about RH8.1 and a link to where you can get it.get it here (http://ftp://planetmirror.com/pub/redhat/linux/beta/phoebe/en/iso/i386/). It is kinda slow dl but oh well. so far my max on cable has been 17k/s hope you guys do better

dude, if you download it succesffully, ill give you an acount on my server so you can upload it, and have normal shell acess

will do as soon as it is done. Should be some time tommorow. i only got 15 hours left on cd 1 and 18 hours left on cd 2. I will start cd 3 in a few minutes. Also do you have an ftp server b/c i am dl them on 2 diffrent boxes and one of them is windows. I find that with windows it is easyer to ftp into a server to upload then to ssh into it.
