I downloaded RH7.3 and did a full installation. Yep this time it worked just fine and dandy.
Went to the automated update shit. I did that, it updated my kernel too. Did a reboot,,,KAZAM WAM BLAM,.,,,,Kernel panic.
There is a reason i drive a car with manual gears and not an automated piece of shit.
  Autoupdate can kiss my ass.

Am gonna install it again and do all the updates my self. But before I do that Ill install  RED HAT 5.2 just for the hell of it.

I've had that happen with RedHat's updated kernels before. I don't know what the hell they do to them but if you upgrade everything *but* the kernel you will be fine. If you haven't wiped it out you could probably pass some boot options and figure out where it's blowing up (like agp=no, pcmcia=no, apm=no, etc).

can't you just update everything but the kernel like voidmain said, and then get a newer kernel which you then put in yrself? you know setting the modules with menuconfig and so on?

				I did what VoidMan said.
I typed the commands he said , but am honest I was clueless on what to do. :-D
I reintalled 7.3 and I updated just the software. I will update the kernel manualy.
