This is a commercial with a Mac gamer explaining how much easier life is for Mac gamers(hilarious).
Windows Media version of video - 5.70MB

Quicktime version of video - 13MB

I'll reply to this in a half hour when Windows Media Crippler is done trying to stream it.
-
It is better just to save the Windows Media version to your drive and play it because the server hosting the WMV one seems to have crappy bandwidth. I was only getting like 3KB per sec trying to stream it.

Okay, I'm back. It's not funny. It's true, but it's not funny.
At least it's not THIS one, which is not trying to be funny (and is actually from Apple :( )

Kinda funny, but not true at all. Did you guys ever see the AOL spoof add?
-
It's funny cos it's true! What a shame they support AIM and ikonboard.

It's stupid. Basically this guy spoofing the Switch adds saying how bad the Mac is for gaming. Haw! Haw! Haw!
It's kind of well done actually, and pretty funny. But way, WAY, exagerated and a bit off base.
-
BFD. No one buys a Mac for gaming. Or no one that knows anyting about gaming, anyway. Gaming is more of an afterthought for most mac users. I myself own about a a dozen games and play about 2-3 hours a week, tops.
Anyway, the guy in that parody is so damn pathetic and nerdy looking, it's no wonder he plays so many games. He's obviously not a hit with the ladies.

actally, most hackers arn't
-
actally, all the games that i love and cherish, like most things from blizzard, have mac native versions. its just games like counter-strike, wich has most windiod luzers by the balls that don't have native versions from what i have seen, theres even a version of quake3 for mac. i kinda think that macosx is for like idiots that need a simple os, and hackers like the rest of us.
and on top of that there is giong to be a native version of Never Winter Nights for macosx. and i think that the toolkit might be coming to linux, cuase i was reading that borleand is finally getting off there asses and porting there compiler to linux

On that petition their was 888 signatures, 887 of witch were probably *Red Ranger Shitware*/blob himself and the other one was WindowsXP User #123456789666 but he only signed because the c0ckcrew made him or they wouldnt let him join their elite crew... Also, I've never had any problems with FlashMX on my mac with 10.1.5.
-
I'm sorry to say i have to agree on this on flash runs at half speed on my machine and no matter what i do it won't speed up. You don't need flash - it just annoying

Just wondering what is it that runs slow? When you watch things in flash or when working in Flash? Or both, cause I use FlashMX quite a bit and havnt had many problems with it. The one thing i have noticed though is its much slower at is importing a .mov but after exporting it as a .swf the quality looks much beter on a mac...
-
Ya. Im not quite sure what the deal with speed is.
I mean, maybe some flash runs faster in windows or something, but to tell you the truth I see little diffrence. Back in my Newgrounds days I used to wast time at my schools comp. lab looking at movies. They had Wintel boxes and Mac's both connected to the net.
I used whatever was available and never noticed any significant speed diffrence. So what exactly is the diffrence?

dude, still, a macintosh does have great support of blizzard's games, and like the hardware that a mac is running, i bet the graphics in warcraftIII kicks the pc's graphics ass
-
More than Blizzard, just go to Apple and look up games. You'll get a pretty comprehensive list.
No, we don't have the slew of games the PC does. But we got a whole lot, and a whole lot of good ones at that.
-
there are plenty of games for mac
go buy an $box if you want friggin games
puleeeeze it is a computer
-
i know, and i already have an xbox thank you. im just saying that the macs architecture would be great for games, it kicks ass for real world work,
-
maybe mac should tap into the console world?
-
Another intresting thing is that some relativly old macs can run warcraft III decently, but on a PC it has to be pretty new.
-
a hacked out 9500 definitly could, i heard that such a thing a dual g4 upgrade card exists for such machines, a dual processor 9500, i already have a boner
