On the OSX firewall it says next to WebSharing port 80 and port 427, what does port 427 have to do with anything let alone http?

i believe its an SSL port.

427 is not https (SSL), that's 443:

It appears to be a Novell port:

I don't know why you would have it open. Just because it is a Novell port doesn't mean other apps can't use that port so maybe there is another explanation.
