Sometimes when you are pushing open source software it may feel like an uphill struggle, it is but it is worth it.

I am self employed and begriming in the new year my business is going to expand.

(Please note "buy", I don't mind paying for good software.)

I will buy Linux (RedHat 7,3).

I will buy StarOffice 6

I will buy Eudora.

I will buy Opera.

I don't have to tell you what I am not going to buy.


This is because a colleague passed on fuckmicrosoft.com and a few others.

Granted he was sowing on fertile ground but I am converted,

I am unassimilated.

The pro-Linux boards were very different from the pro-Microsoft ones.  Pro-Linux boards contain facts and reason, MS sites... er... don't.

This is the board I came back to the most and will continue to.

So thank you everyone - early next year there will be one more person taking the open source root, small reward for your efforts but it is working.

You will win because you are right.

 I have also found that the regular people here, are very smart and very articulate.  

   Dont mind the cussing and fussing at times. We do that sometimes to people who come here just to flame and to troll and because the admin lets us get away with it.
