Windows doesn't even support its own shitty mouse
« on: 11 January 2006, 00:26 »
I have one of those old Microcrap-brand optical mice from a 95 box, and I decided to switch it to my OpenBSD/WinXP laptop (one of the mouse buttons on it is behaving poorly).

Windows asks for the installation disc, reboots ad infinatum

OpenBSD uses it as /dev/mouse and it works fine (X and console)

:fu: U Bill. Can't you even support your own hardware?

Windows 98 didn't even recognize it when I tried.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha:p
[OFFTOPIC] Machine Specs (for the curious or legally insane)
Pentium II
64 MB RAM
6 Gig HD (3 for Winshit XP, 3 for OpenBSD)
56 K modem (runs at 28 because of my phone lines. I blame Microsoft)
[/OFFTOPIC]
Long Live the Revolution!

I own an original Apple ADB Mouse.

My Blue G3 has an ADB port... the last Mac ever built with one.

Mac OS X 10.4.4, released today... and that mouse still works.
Go the fuck ~

It's at 10.4.4 already? I'll have to update tomorrow, it's getting late now.

It's only 26MB. Let it go overnight.
