Taking a cue from this website, my friend Dan set up a similar thing for the Intel Mini: http://www.helpdangetamacmini.com

Personally I think they're both nuts, but the G5 guy only has $50 or so left before he reaches his goal.  Pretty crazy if you ask me.  Although the G5 guy has much better spelling and grammar than my friend... ;)

They are pretty lucky to be the first people to have thought this up... once people start imitating them, this will lose its novelty value, and it won't work anymore.

BTW, I have an idea for Dan: he should take a cue from the G4 owner. Kick the shit out of that POS PC and tape it. That ought to be more entertaining than blowing up a G4! ;)

they are complete idiots over there spending money on hosting come on. it will not work if there trying to get money then have to give it to the host.
