« on: 29 April 2006, 06:52 »
I was looking on some internet shops and comparing processors. For a high-end machince, I am pretty much going to get either an X2 or an FX-55 processor. I was wondering witch one was more powerful...

X2 is a product line of dual-core processors.  The FX-55 is a 2.6GHz single-core processor.  It really depends if you can take advantage of dual core or not.

X2... Dual-core, newer core, and should be cheaper than the FX-55
