sorry worker201...u missed the 60's with me...we only got disco, bad poyester and bell bottoms....oh yeah...and big hair.

As far as ticking goes, there are many forces which still do it. My best friend from Highschool has spent about 18 years in a Tank (The Abrhams) and has participated in several campaigns. Every one of his tanks were "ticked".

It mostly (for USA Forces n e way) depends on the command and whether they allow "unauthorized modifications" to your vehicle/equipment. It is usually much more lax during combat than peace though.

Well, we should probably just let Israel take over the whole Middle East.  Make the whole place a lot safer and nicer.

Well, that is what I would have expected.

So the lead into this thread is, to put it politely, wrong, unless it's about the tick mark being uniquely a ring for Israeli tank forces.  In which case, who really cares?

Calum:
ticking doesn't matter. killing does.

these bastards who prefer to kill and hate rather than talk, agree and move on are the past. our species should have evolved past that by now.

we must, as a species, adapt or die, this is the simple truth.

pofnlice:
being on the wrong end of a tanks main gun is a good way to slow that particular evolution...
