well, if linux you like, and dual boot you don't, windows\system32\drivers\ndisuio.sys exists no longer will

nunrg169:
i would like to keep a dual boot since i have never used linux. the one i downloaded i cant get to work it is a roxio image file and my roxio does not work. where can i get the redhat distro

nunrg169:
how do i make an iso image work?????

choasforages:
should be an option that goes like
create cd from image
or somethiing like that
click it and burn each disk in a similer manner

and for redhat, linuxiso should have some mirrors, or try
http://www.redhat.com/download/mirror.html

you should be able to find a good one you only need the first 3 disks, disk 4 and disk 5 are source code disks, there not needed for the install.

lazygamer:
Ok IMO, all people should dual boot when starting out. You just don't know what might go wrong. Maybe a piece of hardware doesn't work, maybe you are stumped on how to solve a problem, maybe you just can't seem to learn quickly how to use the damn thing. The biggest reason of all is internet, if that internet connection doesn't work, you are fucked. No matter how much the temptation is to throw Windows in the trash and shit on Microsoft, remember that the internet rules all.

Although if you are stranded with Linux, with no Wind0ze to fall back on, you will probably learn much quicker.
