Stick up the arse!!!

I don't understand how Microsoft can have so many dumb people working for them and yet come up with such lame crap.  The OS sucks, the programs are dull, and the kernel is unreliable.  With all these people, surely someone is innovative to come up with something like iTunes.  Microsoft is stupid.  Always has been, always will be.  Sans Apple, Microsoft would be hurting for new ideas.
If Microsoft made food, it would all be poisioned.  If Microsoft made cars, we'd all be in rehab recoving from wrecks.  Why do we allow them to design our Operating System???

Yes, Microsoft is the bane of our existence. It's incredible how Microsoft can be stupid enough to make such buggy applications and copy on others, yet underhanded and evil enough to practically escape antitrust sanctions and become such a huge monopoly.

And look at the crap they're coming up with to copy Mac OS X.

Looks like we're going to have to switch platforms to escape the abomination that is Palladium.

By the way, welcome to the forums.

Isn't that statement some sort  of an oxy-moron. If you think they have dumb people working for them, they why would you be surprised that they came up with lame crap?

MS feels that because they have manopoly they no longer need to be inovative.

Some windows usere are as excited about MS as the Apple users are about OSX.  If MS put shit in a box that said smear this on your monitor to maximize your Windoze experience, these MS nutballs would buy it.  Unfortunitley these nutballs account for about 75% of the computing public.

Name me a point in time when they were innovative please?

   :D

M$ has alwasy been guilty of monolithic thinking. I think the point is that anyone *could* be innovative given the right environment, note give  the right environment.

M$ aren't alone in the way they approach their work but they certainly stand out in this respect. Anyone of those developers / engineers in Redmond could so easly do things the right way, but of course Bill and the whole drive of M$ won't let them. Another problems M$ suffers from I think is just that mass. How many developers working on XP? 1000, 5000 10000? Thats not the way to make software. Smaller more specialist teams (that tend to have more pride in their work) teams do better.
