Kazaa Lite problems

Hey out there

I'm trying to get Kazaa Lite to work in Linux with Wine

it works.........kinda

It will open up fine give me the GUI then crash after 15 sec


any one have any ideas

never mind I edited the wineconfig

it works WINE ROCKS!!!

unless anyone else needs help with KAZAALITE
you can probably bin this

KaZaA Lite is the best P2P at the moment. Not because of the program itself, not because of the network, but because KaZaA is so overcrowded, many ISP's (at least over here) started to build KaZaA cache's to save bandwith.

Yeah i would have  to agree Kazaa is probably the best p2p available.


However I can't for the life of me figure out why they only want it for Windows.

What is their problem ?

i have no idea. but, instead of downloading individual files, you can download entire folders. it kicks ass. i get more results with it than either kazaa or limewire, and the downloads are more likely to work.
