First I have to justify me using microsoft access, well - its a college project and thats what they have installed  :(

Anyway, the problem.

Does anyone know know how to change the background colour of a command button on an access form???   Ive tried for ages to make this horrible window's looking interface look nice on my form but, i don't see how.

Please help

didn't you say you were going to justify using access 2003? i was really looking forward to that, and then all i get instead is some moaning crap about how you have to use it because that's what everybody else uses. WAKE UP!!!!!

Well thanks for your help, what a waste of time - If youve never used it before, why even bother replying???   nothing better to do???  sad

I dont use it 'cos everyone else does' its a college project, which means it HAS to be compatible with their systems.

Thanks for nothing

  :(

Oh, thanks void main, I'll try there, you seem to be the only nice person on this forum

Some would not consider me nice. I just figured since you came to this site you must have been frustrated with Microsoft in some way so I went easy on you. I have a policy of not helping solve M$ problems on this forum which is why I redirected you to a place that enjoys it. I would be glad to help solve an M$ problem if solving it includes switching to Linux but that didn't seem to be an option in your case. Good luck at windowsbbs, you'll need it.

Big Al's operating system of choice is XP.

You just can't help people who make bad decisions.

Hey Big Al, I have used access before and can help you with your problem.  Access is, to be frank, a pile of shit.  You can solve your problem by going to your professor and convincing him/her to use an open-source alternative.

With questions such as this there is one true answer, I use it at work all the time - in a more civilised tone of course.
