Microsoft proving once again its dedication to the personal security and safety of its customers. By the way XP-user, I thought you were in love with MS, why are you posting anti-MS links?

Hey XPiss lover, have you ever considered getting psychiatric help? Do the terms identity crisis or schizoid personality mean anything to you? If not, then I would seriously suggest a visit to the shrink    :D  . Man, you really need help  :D

all those security issues are a result of ms rushing to produce software, trying to make sure it is spyware compatible

well how wude indeed

and if they weren't so damned stuck on closed source i guarentee one of the first users would have found nimda and made them a patch

i had a particular problem with:

quote:
is not expected to cause any damage since it remains essentially dormant in a part of the program

maybe this is why it is all so robust

just a bunch of junk virus code lying around everywhere

what a bunch of idiots

I just post them as I see them. (sort of)

Remember, I'm still looking for articles degrading Linux and Mac, and I'll post those just as fast.

This one is ant-MS, but it's so funny I had to post it.
One of you would have eventually posted it anway.

Yes....The news item only appeared as a link ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THIS WEBSITE, real hard hunting for that one.

The only anti Linux stuff comes from people whos credentials are not up for the job of even assessing an OS, or from pro M$ sites. Technically it always seems to achieve a good ride, because it does what it says. If not you will not pay them later on for their software.

So lets see. M$ say it's not a problem to have this bug, as it is not a danger, because it lies dormant. First off what completely deranged kind of prat thinks it's okay to have a virus if it is dormant. Secondly this now means that the Nimda virus is out there, and could be released again, because maybe the person who put it in set it to go off at some specific time (like when a security update is installed?).

Of course it's M$, so I can relax.

We see a level of incompetence from the M$ company that baffles belief. How can any company allow this sort of stuff to get out. There must simply be a lack of proper testing of the software. That is the only way I can see some of these bugs are getting out.

from the article:

........

The virus was discovered by a Microsoft employee in May, contained in a compressed, unused file, Flores said.
eh? why are they releasing software that has a whole bunch of files that will never even be used? bloattastic... why?

yeah, most people i know that are hackers /*note, the correct version of the word, not ScRiPt KiDiEs*/ are a bit "unstable". makes me wonder which came first, computers, or insantiy. owell, microsoft always trys to say that there is no bloat in there software. and to save there ass from yet another puplic grilling they quick bullshit and say that the code isn't used. how amusing and wrong
