CD Player for Windows
« on: 18 July 2003, 10:10 »
Since Mr. Bill Gates wants to force all their users to use Windows Media Player for everything, they have removed the standard CD player that came with Win95/98. SO I have designed a similar player (much more improved of course) in VB, and you can freely download it from its site below:

Remove Windows Media from your system and start to enjoy digital audio music with this real CD player.

What a coincidence. I saw your post just when I was looking for a CD player other than WMP!

Maybe there IS a god after all !

Okay, maybe not.

Too bad it's based on M$ technology, though.    :(
Visual Basic 6... ewwww...

Edit: What the ??? It doesn't even work ???

I used it on XP. (Got to remember to erase that Microsoft POS).

I tried to install the libs anyway... doesn't work.

At least you made an effort to give us an alternative... but please, stop using VB6! This is an anti-MS site!

I tried everything to install BeOS after trying patches, updates, etc, cause it does not originally support AMD processors. But then I found that I needed to format my HD to install it, so forget it.

Several distributions of BeOS support AMD now. Try BeOS Max Edition. You just need to partition your drive, not format it.

It's an appetiser of all the wonder of Mac OS X.
