People are stupid, and I think Microsoft is starting to realise that. For example, when you first use WIndows XP and you go to C:\, it says that it's dangerous to change anything there. And of course the balloon tips meanth for idiots.

When I think of it, I guess Windows XP was made for stupid people anyways...

aren't automatic updates default for windows xp? i recall each time i've had to install it i have to turn it off.

Hmmm, if they have automatic updates then they could inforce DRM (and/or broken patches)and the like without the users knowledge. So if something stops working for no reason, i'd know why.  :cool:

I think it's great because those that don't have land lines or Internet access won't be able to use Windows, and they be forced to use a real OS.
