Thread needs to be moved.

Depends on the drivers.  Graphics card drivers for Linux are releaed by Nvidia at its website, same for ATI (suckily).

Sound drivers don't need to be updated.

Modem drivers don't need to be, either.  You might need a WinModem driver, but that's it.

That is supported.     New versions release every few months or so.  What's your sound card/modem models?
